Small ball vase with handles, in enameled stoneware signed Gilbert Méténier (1876-?). H: 11.5cm

Son of Louis Méténier, he took over his father's factory in 1920 and developed Méténier Grès d'art until 1940, when he destroyed the molds to prevent them from falling into the hands of the occupiers. After a stay in the south of France, we lose track of him forever...
