Pair of armchairs from the 1960s, design by Guy Besnard, published by Guy Besnard et Cie. Wooden structure, lined with foam and textile, on brass-plated metal base. Guy Besnard graduated from the Boulle school in 1930, and created his own publishing house in the 1950s. In beautiful original condition, the period upholstery has lighter areas on the top of the backs, slight discoloration in the absence of UV due to the presence of protection at head level. Note slight marks and areas on the seats (see photos). However, the choice was made to keep these original textiles, but it is possible to have them redone by an upholsterer with a textile of your choice (on quote). The seat is deep, enveloping and very comfortable.
