 This chair was a real revolution when it was released, once folded it measures only four centimeters thick, unfolded it is light, elegant and practical! Giancarlo Piretti succeeded in demonstrating that it was possible to invent a light, folding, beautiful and practical chair. Chromed steel structure, aluminum ball joints, seat and back in canework, rarer than the numerous versions in molded Perplex. This chair received the German "Gute Form" prize in 1973 and has been in production since 1969.
