Suite of 4 chairs, design by Kai Kristiansen (1929-) in 1956 published by Shou Andersen Møbelfabrik in Denmark. This is the Model 86, also called "compass chair" or "compass chair" because of the shape of its base. The solid teak legs form small armrests, the backrest is raised and upholstered like the seat.

Kai Kristiansen is a major Danish designer whose career spanned from 1951 to 2006. He collaborated with the largest Scandinavian furniture publishers, mainly Danish, during his 55-year career! In very good condition, these chairs have been completely restored by an upholsterer with new textiles, wool and polyester. Small rubber pads under the feet.
